From Ephemeral New York, which is one of the more enjoyable blogs on my roll.
This is an odd movie that follows a number of characters along the 3rd avenue El, prior to its removal. A great scene is the rotation of the bridge. Wait for it. A beautiful vignette of a former New York. But note which character gets the token. New York and American have changed less than we presume.
